Kissan AgriFest Privacy Policy
Last updated 26 July 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected through the Kissan AgriFest websites, contact forms, exhibitor booking workflow, farmer registration, sponsorship process, ambassador/media applications, and related event support channels.
It applies to visitors, exhibitors, brands, farmers, suppliers, media representatives, ambassadors and other users interacting with kissanmarket.pk and agrifest.com.pk pages of the event platform.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, phone, email, organization details, role, location, package interests, uploaded files, messages, and other form fields.
We also collect standard technical details such as IP address, device/browser details, page navigation activity, timestamps, and approximate location (where available through device/browser settings) to run and secure the website and improve performance.
When you contact us by phone, email, or messaging channels, the content and metadata of those communications may be stored to resolve your query.
3. How we use information
We use this information to:
- Process registrations and service enquiries.
- Confirm booking, sponsorship, exhibition or media participation workflows.
- Provide event updates, operational instructions, and support.
- Improve safety planning, attendance coordination, and event communication.
- Generate internal analytics and lead summaries to improve event operations.
- Comply with legal or contract obligations.
Communication preferences shared by you are respected and we only send operational or requested messages by default.
4. Information sharing
We do not sell personal data.
We may share information only with trusted service providers and internal teams involved in event operations, for example: hosting, email delivery, analytics, document storage, and CRM support.
Information can also be shared where required by law, by a valid legal request, or to protect safety and the rights of users and the event organizers.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the website functional, remember basic preferences, and understand how pages perform.
If you allow optional tracking, Google Analytics and the LinkedIn Insight Tag may measure page visits, campaign attribution and advertising performance. These providers may process technical identifiers such as IP address, browser/device details and referring campaign information under their own privacy terms.
We do not pass registration form answers, CRM records, email addresses or phone numbers to these browser tags. Declining optional tracking keeps both tags unloaded.
You may control non-essential cookies through the preference shown on this site and through your browser settings.
6. Data storage and security
Information is stored on secure infrastructure used by our technology and operations partners.
We apply administrative, technical, and operational safeguards to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. While we implement strong controls, no online system can be considered 100% risk-free.
Access is limited to authorized personnel only and only for approved event business purposes.
7. Retention period
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and for legally required archival or operational records.
Some records (payments, contracts, safety communications, inquiry history) may be retained longer where required for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
8. Your rights
You may request:
- Access to the information we hold about you.
- Correction of inaccurate information.
- Withdrawal of consent where it was the legal basis for processing.
- Deletion when retention is no longer justified by service, legal, or operational needs.
- Restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
To exercise these rights, contact our data controller at the email below.
9. International transfer
Some service providers may process data in regions outside Pakistan to deliver reliable hosting, cloud services, or analytics support. We require providers to apply security and confidentiality standards appropriate to the service level.
Where required, transfer is done under lawful and approved operational arrangements.
10. Children and minors
The site is not directed at children under 16 for direct marketing or account registration. If a minor's personal information is submitted for event-related participation with family or educational activity, consent from a lawful guardian should be obtained first.
If we learn that data was collected from a minor without proper consent, we will review and restrict processing as quickly as possible.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal, operational, or feature updates. Material updates will be shown by changing the "Last updated" date below.
Current version is effective as of 29 August 2026. Continued use of the website or event channels after publication means this updated policy applies.
12. Contact
For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact our data controller at [email protected].
